Students of the Intelligent Engineering College won one first prize and two third prizes in the 2023
The contest results of 2023 National College Student Electronic Design Competition have been announced in recent days, students of the Intelligent Engineering College won one first prize and two third prizes in the competition.
The first prize winner in the Guangxi Division was the team composed of students Luo Xionggui, Jiang Dengbin and Zou Yu, their instructors were Li Yuqin and Gan Xinquan. In addition, the team composed of students Li Yangxian, Yang Qingchang and Zhang Minjie won the third prize of Guangxi Division, and the instructors were Luo Mei and Gan Xinquan. Besides, the team composed of students Huang Deqiu, Fan Zuosheng and Zhou Haidao, whose instructors were Wei Xiufeng and Yu Jinyong, also won the third prize in the Guangxi Division.

There were 5 teams in our university took part in the 2023 National College Student Electronic Design Competition, which was held simultaneously in 31 provinces (municipalities and districts) across China from August 2 to August 5. From August 7th to August 11th, 707 teams from 42 universities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region participated in the evaluation of the Guangxi Division. 3 teams from the Intelligent Engineering College of our university won the award.
The competition is jointly initiated by the Higher Education Division of Ministry of Education and the Department of Personnel Education of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which is a discipline competition for college students. Although the competition is held every two years, it is currently one of the largest, widest and most influential electronic information discipline competitions in China.

The competition not only demonstrates Intelligent Engineering College students’ solid theoretical knowledge and practical innovation ability but also improves the students’ comprehensive ability to design and produce electronic products when facing engineering questions. Furthermore, the Intelligent Engineering College promotes the construction of majors and courses through the competition.
